  • Overview

PWP hires Summer Associates to work in its advisory M&A and restructuring practices.  The ten-week internship program gives interns the opportunity to develop tangible skills and gain real world transaction experience.  At the start of the program, interns participate in a one-week training program.  Our banker led training team designs a robust, detailed curriculum to develop interns’ modelling and analytical expertise.  Training and staffings are complemented by social outings and networking events to deepen interns’ understanding of the junior banker role and the industry, and to develop strong connectivity to the firm.

PWP offers a truly distinctive experience where interns are staffed on lean deal teams and are expected to collaborate directly with the industry’s most highly regarded expertsOur entrepreneurial environment fosters an apprenticeship-like culture, and interns, like all junior bankers at PWP, are expected to take on an outsized level of responsibility and make an impact. Interns are encouraged to recognize and evaluate the nuances of each transaction, allowing them to develop a well-rounded, highly quantitative skill set.  Responsibilities include building financial valuation models, creating client presentations, engaging in due diligence processes, and conducting company and industry research.

PWP’s internship program was recognized by the 2018 Vault Survey as the #1 Investment Banking Internship, #1 for Career Development and #2 Overall Internship Program.  Join our program to learn what makes this a unique experience and to contribute to our continued success.
